attended her first Hatha Yoga class in Sydney over thirty six years ago. Yoga has been the central part of her life's journey ever since. Dhanashri has a passion for teaching from experience, and encourages all to embrace Yoga into their daily lives.
Dhanashri's teacher training began in Byron Bay with the SolomonYogalatestm method, a fusion of Yoga and pilates. This extensive training proved to be invaluable, providing a thorough understanding of functional movement and alignment, using the pilates method to develop core postural strength .
The training in Yoga Therapy, Womens & Mens Health greatly influenced Dhanashri's teaching style, and gave a sound foundation for working with students with a wide range of health issues.
After completing this training Dhanashri began teaching classes in Coogee, NSW for two years, also attending Yoga classes at Yoga Synergy.
During this time Dhanashri furthered her Yoga studies, completing a two year training programme in Integral Yoga with the Integral Yoga Academy of Australasia.
Qualifications include: Certicate 1V Solomon Yogalates / Diploma Integral Yoga / Diploma Traditional Chinese Massage, Accupressure and Chi Balancing / Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200
has been practicing Yoga for eleven years. He completed his Yoga teacher training in 2009. Peter is passionate about the benefits of Yoga and brings a great enthusiasm into the classes.
Peter has had a keen interest in health and fitness for many years and coaches and guides many students through the challenges of making lifestyle changes to benefit overall health and well being.
Both Peter & Dhanashri have explored different aspects of Yoga in North and South India, and have been most fortunate to have had teachings with wonderful Jnana and Bhakti Yogis and Masters.
